"Private" Lessons

We offer private lessons to select individuals who are serious about improving their riding, horsemanship, ground work, or cow working skills. Our lesson format is designed to teach you to ride technically correct in order to be safer, more confident, and to be "one" with your horse. We suggest you take a minimum of six lessons, which is only a beginning. Cow work classes are offered to teach how to "read" and work cattle and position your horse.

A private lesson is just that... "private". We do everything we can to prevent people from "hanging around" a client (or their guest or family) when a lesson is in progress. This makes most people uneasy for someone to watch them. The horse then gets uneasy and the lesson is affected negatively. A client pays for privacy so we ask everyone to honor that by not being present in the lesson or be an "observer" of lesson activity.
We ask that reservation be made as far in advance as possible or to schedule lessons for the same day and time each week. We do not give lessons on the same day.
